There's this place, Fergs Rock 'n' Kayaks, at Shed 6, Queens Wharf, where you can try indoor rock climbing (for 12 NZ$ per hour) or you can rent some skates for 10 NZ$ for 2 hours Also, if you want to, there are kayaks available for hire for 10 NZ$ for two hours.
