If you reach the southest city from Owhiro Bay you find there the volcanic Red Rocks coast famous for the ancient volcanic eruptions and for the history of Maori. Even nowadays you may see alot of seals from May to September hidding between rocks.
I took the bus nr1 and i went to Island Bay and nr 29 i think to go to Owhiro Bay and from there it's 1 km to reach the coast.I paid around NZD$59 for The Seal Coast Safari and it's worth all the money.
