Wellington Zoo

Is there another Wellington Zoo except the one from NZ?...:-) if you're asking me, I'd tell you it's worth a visit. It's well-maintained, it has a variety of native and non-native wildlife and is comitted to conservation and research. You can find outdoor lion chimpanzee parks and a nocturnal kiwi house which also has giant weta (indigenous insects). if you're interested, catch Stagecoach bus Nos 10 and 23, the zoo is 4km south of the city.
