Wellington, Te Papa museum

Posted 1 year ago by aldo in response to tramo's question: I've heard a lot about the Te Papa museum in Wellington. Is it interesting? (give a different answer) .

I just visited it and yes, i think it's very interesting. It's in the Museum of New Zealand, on Cable St, the admission is free and it;s got quite fascinating exhibits on the country's culture, natural history, contemporary art etc. I liked the huge Maori colection, the high-tech stuff like the virtual bungee jump and the house shaking in an earthquake.
