Is there a good art gallery in Wellington? I'm interested in the local artists.(give a different answer) .
The City Gallery Wellington, on 101 Wakefield St, in Civic Sq is quite good. It has a lot of exhibitions of design, arhitecture and art by NZ artists, but also international ones. The admission is usually by donation, byt for international shows there's a fee. Visit between 10 am and 5 pm.
