Maple Lodge, on 52 Ellice St is the best palce in wellington to get accommodation, especially if you're travelling alone. It's very cosy and friendly, with very clean rooms, nice views. There's nice ambient music and a good atmosphere for chatting, playing board games and meeting people. dorm beds are 21 NZ$.
