The first time I was in Tauranga, everybody suggested I try Cafe Hasan Baba (on 107 Grey St), as it serves good-value Middle Eastern cuisine. After I tried it, I still prefered Krazy Jacks, not only because of its steaks,salads and pasta, but also because it has occasional live jazz and rock gigs. So, if you're also keen on that kind of music, I suggest you go there. it's on 47 The Strand.
