Actually, there are three basic modern hostels and camp sites, at McLaren Falls. The prices range from NZ$15 to NZ$24 per person. But if you want to book, then you should contact Tauranga District Council (577 7000 or visit www.tauranga.govt.nz). I recommend you take the mid-priced opportunities, 'cause they have more free facilities than the cheapest ones.
