Thermal pools and mud baths in Rotorua, NZ

Posted 1 year ago by avatar dock in response to avatar eduardo's question: I was always looking for mud baths. though it sounds so kinky, they are incredible treatments for all kind of diseases. so, I found there is such a place in New Zealand. where exactly is it? (give a different answer) .

You've heard well... there is such a place in Rotuara, on Hinemoa St, in the Government Gardens and it offers a variety of mud spa treatments and aix massage (a hydrotherapy treatment). It's called the Polynesian Spa and the prices range from NZ$14 for private pools per 30 minutes to NZ$65 for spa therapies. But I'll give you another hint: there's a place where travellers can bathe in natural thermal pools for free (visit Kerosene Creek! turn left on the unsealed old Waiotapu Rd and follow it for 2km to get there...)
