The Skyline Gondola (on Brecon St) takes you to the top of a hill where you have impressive views. The price is 17 A$ for a return ticket. At the top, there are some eateries and you can see the 30 minute film Kiwi Magic for 9 NZ$. You can also walk to the summit on the loop track. It takes about 30 minutes.
