Lake cruises in Queenstown with TSS Earnslaw

Posted 12 months ago by avatar dock in response to avatar hans's question: I want to take a cruise over the Wakatipu Lake, from Queenstown. what options have I got? (give a different answer) .

Hy there... I know the most famous of Lake Wakatipu's many cruise boats: TSS Earnslaw (by the way, TSS stands for "Twin Screw Steamer", if you're wondering...); the place is licensed to carry more than 800 passengers and was once the lake's major means of transport. you may book your trip through Real Journeys (www.realjourneys.nz.co). The cruise options include the standard 1 and a half hour navigation of the lake (for NZ$36) and 3 and a half hour excursions to the high-country Walter Peak Station (for NZ$55).
