Dunedin botanic Gardens

Posted 11 months ago by avatar dock in response to sasha's question: any peaceful, nice place in Dunedin, NZ? I've had it with all that noisy centre... (give a different answer) .

Have you visited Dunedin Botanic Gardens? that's a quiet place, where you can admire clusters of azaleas, camellias, roses and native plants or you can just walk around (there's enough space... 28-hectare!) and watch the birds, 'cause it also has an aviary with 50 species of birds. you'll find it on Great King&Opoho Rd and there is no fee to pay at the entrance. enjoy the silence...
