I'm going to Christchurch with my family and I'd like to take my son to a zoo or something. Any suggestions?(give a different answer) .
There is an animal reserve on McLeans Island Rd, the Orana Wildlife Park, where admission is 14 NZ$. You can see a nocturnal kiwi house, a native bird aviary, a reptile exhibit and many African animals, like lions, giraffes and zebras. For the kids there is also a farmyard area where they can touch the domesticated animals.
