It's first of all a nice area for a walk beacuse it still has well-preserved Victorian buildings, which give it a special air. There are also Mt Victoria and North Head, volcanic cones with great views of the city. Also, quite a lot of art galleries, cafes and nice beaches, like the Cheltenham Beach.
