The Auckland Art Gallery is the biggest and best one in town, if you ask me. The admission is free to both buildings housing it. The Main Gallery, on the corner of Wellesley St East and Kitchener St, has a large collection of New Zealand art, while the New Gallery, on the corner of Wellesley and Lorne Sts has contemporary art shows.
