The Food Alley is where I go almost daily. It's on Albert St and it's sort of a food court with great asian stuff. It's really tasty (try the roti and the Thai desserts) and it's fast, unpretentious and, most of all, cheap. almost all meals are under 9 NZ$. Can't beat that.
