I believe February is the most crowded month with festivals and events... There is the Davenport Win&Food Festival, then the famous HERO Festival (there's nothing comparing to he gay parade!...), as well as the Aaotearoa Maori Performing Arts Festival (that's a rare chance to see Maori culture in action!). At the Asian Latern Festival you could enjoy three days of Asian food and culture in Albert Park and you shouldn't miss the Mission Bay Jazz&Blue Street Fest. you should visit Tourism Auckland's events page for more details: www.eventsauckland.com
