in january there's some tennis championships and Big Day Out, a big concert with lots of cool bands, in february there's Aotearoa Maori Performing Arts Festival (maori culture - really good), in march is my favourite, the Pasifika Festival, a very big event, like a large polynesian party: dancing, music, food.
