I don't know how much money have you saved for the trip, but I'm gonna recommend you the Sky City hotel anyway. It's on Victoria St West&Federal St, which is a brilliant location in Auckland's entertainment centre, surrounded by Sky Tower, restaurants, bars and a 24-hour casino. For NZ$190 per night you'll get a room with all the facilitites and access to pool, business centre, gym and sauna. convenient enough?
